6. Stella Odua



The former Minister of Aviation has a history punctuated with landmark of positive achievements but she is mostly remembered for strings of controversies that surrounded her ranging from alleged falsification of results and highly inflated purchase of BMW bullet-proof cars without due process


Stella Odua secured victory to represent Anambra North Senatorial District in the 2015 national election, she ran on the platform of the PDP.

7. Zahra Buhari


Zahra Buhari broke the Nigerian internet last January at the peak of the campaigns when her modelling pictures came up online.

She took advantage of the online popularity to display her unwarering support for her father via Twitter.


8. Uche Ekwunife


Ekwunife emerged winner in the Anambra Central Senatorial election (2015) on the platform of the PDP after defeating CChiefhief Victor Umeh of APGA AND Dr. Chris Ngige of the APC.


She was a two-term member of the National Assembly (2007 and 2011) on the platform of the All Progressives
Grand Alliance, APGA.


She also contested in the gubernatorial election under the Progressive Peoples Alliance, PPA (2010).


9. Mrs Winifred Ekanem Oyo-Ita



Recently appointed as the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation. Prior to her appointment, Oyo-Ita was the Permanent Secretary in the Federal Ministry of Science and Technology in April 2014, she was Permanent Secretary in the Federal Ministry of Special Duties and Inter-governmental Affairs.


10. Hon. Monsurat Sunmonu



Monsurat Sunmonu became the first female Speaker in the history of the
Oyo State House of Assembly after her nomination for the position in 2011.


She won the senatorial seat to represent the Oyo Central Senatorial District, in 2015 general election.
