“I don’t know what
I’m gonna lose after this it don’t matter,
Though because it
ain’t about me, it’s about new ideas bro,
People with ideas
people who believe in truth.
And yes, as you
probably could've guessed by this moment,
I have decided in
2020 to run for president." Kanye West
Kanye West is full of surprises, isn’t he? The 38yrs old rapper,
songwriter, record producer and fashion designer, told America and the world
that he wants to run for President of the United States in 2020 during The 2015
VMAs.
Whether or not to believe Kanye is another matter entirely,
he had made the declaration and it has attracted reactions from all quarters.
The official Twitter account of the Democratic Party tweeted
"Last night @kanyewest declared his candidacy for president in 2020.
Welcome to the race, Mr. West. Glad to have you."
So Kanye is qualified to run for President? Yes! He is technically
qualified. To be the President of The United State, the candidate must be a natural-born
citizen of the United States and must have been a permanent resident of the USA
for at least 14 years, and must be at least 35 years of age. Kanye is 38, born
in Atlanta, raised in Chicago and currently living in California. Yeezy fulfils
the basic requirements.
No one will vote for a Butt Grabber? Hold that thought, let’s
see what some of his famous peers have to say:

"I'm voting for Kanye. Why not? Who's better than Kanye
to run?" Ice Cube
“Who wouldn't vote for Kanye? I got to see his speech and
I'm really, really elated with it. His speech was incredible.'' Rihanna
“You know, he's got some time, I guess. Crazier things have
happened. We've had entertainers in the White House before.” Anna Chlumsky
Chelsea Clinton, daughter of Former President Bill Clinton, also shared her thoughts "Who
runs for office is really important,” Clinton said in the interview, which was
intended to promote the Clinton Foundation's No Ceilings project. “And even if
[West] just saying that helps spark a little boy or a little girl who was
watching the VMAs to think, ‘Oh wow, maybe I should do that,’ that’s
awesome."
Apparently, Kanye will be getting some endorsements when he
flags off his campaign.
Yes, you are right, Yeezy is really an amazing artist, but
what type of leader will he be? Are we expecting to see a President who will be
grabbing the first Lady’s butt in the public?

How will his history of ignorance affect his relationship
with the media?
And when a member of his cabinet says something he doesn’t agree
with, are they likely to get the Taylor Swift treatment? If yes, should Beyoncé
be his VP?
What about his musical career? Perhaps he will be switching
between the studio and the office of the President. That should not be a big deal,
right?
If Kanye is not content with being one of the best rappers around the world, those
rappers not quite making the professional ranks should consider a career move
to politics?
Kanye as president, Kim as first lady, the world can’t have
a better reason to laugh.
That will be a big disrespect to Abraham Lincoln, George
Washington, Franklin Roosevelt and other great ex-presidents of the United States.

Nice one
