10 Reasons People Hate The Nigerian PolicePolice [part1]

Many Nigerians hate Nigerian police officers as much as they hate paying tax.

Nigerians hate the police for different reasons, in most cases the police make it easy for people to hate them.

Here are 10 reasons why people hate the Nigerian police.

1. They Think They have The Right To Disrespect You.

The men and women of the Nigerian Police Force are some of the most disrespectful security agents in the world.

It is not uncommon in our society to see police officers treating members of the public like second-class citizens. It is as though they are not deserving of being treated with courtesy and respect.

It takes the slightest insult, perceived or real, to incur the wrath of a police officer, even in situations where those insults are imaginary, or profoundly
misconstrued.

A police officer can be obnoxiously rude to you and still expect you to be kind to him. After all he has the authority.

2. Torture Is Their Best Form Of Interrogation

Unless you have Never been interrogated by a Nigerian police officer, you may never understand how brutal and reckless A police officer can be. Just think of them as 'Robots' in uniform.

3. They Arrive Late At Crime Scenes And Arrest Everyone IN Sight irrespective Of Their complicity Or Not

The reasonable question anyone will ask is "Why do Nigeria police officers arrive late at a crime scene?"

Maybe because it is easier to set up a check-point and find a driver whose car documents are incomplete or expired.

4. If You Know your Rights, You Are An Enemy

A Police Officer's Worst Enemy Is a Well Informed Citizen Who knows  His/Her rights.

5. Indiscriminate Use Of Handcuffs

The use of handcuffs are necessary in certain situations such as to prevent an arrested person from escaping police custody or causing harm to
himself or another person or the policeman.

However, the policemen have indulged in the unnecessary use of handcuffs, mostly in unjustifiable situations.
