If you went to any of the Nigerian Universities in the mid '00s you will understand some of, if not all these things.
1. ASUU and ASUP STRIKE ACTIONS ARE MORE CONSTANT THAN CHANGE
The truism that nothing is more constant than change loses its credence in the context of ASUU and ASUP strike.
There is no denying the fact that one of the major causes of educational backwardness in this country is incessant strikes by university lecturers, which are always precipitated by disagreements between government and teachers.
The situation have relatively improved now, but if you attended any Nigerian Public University in the mid '00s, you will surely understand what I'm talking about.
2. NOT EVERYONE YOU KNEW HAD A LAPTOP
If you were fortunate enough to have been able to take a laptop to university, it most likely looked a lot like this, and weighed as much as an adult female wild turkey.
3. IF YOU ARE ONE OF THE LUCKY PEOPLE WHO OWNED A LAPTOP
You probably spent more time downloading music or ripping them on to your laptop from every CD you borrowed from your friends.
4. YOU HAVE A BIG ALBUM AND MOST OF THE PHOTOS WERE TAKEN ON THE MOTION GROUND
It would have been unimaginable to visit a friend on campus in the mid '00s and not be offered a photo album to view.
However, the increasing availability of mobile phones and the growing trend of selfie photos, have destroyed photography.
5. YOU DON'T NEED FILTER FOR TO POST YOUR PICTURE ON FACE BOOK.
Chances are you don't even have a camera phone or Facebook account.
6. POSTERS ON THE WALL
Decorating your hostel room was never a problem, you don't have to be particularly creative to give your wall some personality. All you needed to do was to rip your magazines into pieces and glue them to your wall.
