Man beheads wife, walks with her head on the road

Ramchandra Sheu Chavan (53), gave the residents of Pune, india, the shock of their lives when he was seen walking the street of the city with a severed head of a woman identified to be his wife, Sonabai Ramchandra Chavan (45).

According to The Indian Express, Chauvan, who is reported to often quarrel with his wife and also suspected her of having an affair with their son-in-law, beheaded his wife with an axe after a heated argument.

Chauvan was reported to the police when he was seen walking along the street with the severed head in one hand and the axe in the other.
The police have taken him into custody and he was booked under the section 302 of the Indian Panel Code, which deals with murder cases.
